i`ll probably catch some shit for this, & i apologize in advance for offending, but
i reallllly hate that some girls act like being african american isn`t enough. i`m looking at you, i see a BLACK GIRL. black features, black hair, etc. but because people put mixed girls are on a pedestal (and when i say mixed i`m referring to someone with parents of two different races), some black girls seem to think it’s not okay to be just african american. you end up seeing black girls (who look completely black) going on and on about how they`re mixed with 85 things, extending way back past great-great grandmothers & they`re acting like i`m supposed to count that shit. bitch you`re black. i`m black. your parents are black. and you know what? it`s okay. i mean, i`m well aware that being ethnically mixed is not all looks, but damn, don`t lie to impress people. be proud of who and what you really are.
